Take a Hike is an innovative education program engaging vulnerable youth through a unique combination of academics, land-based learning, clinical counselling, and community. In September 2019, our first classroom on Vancouver Island opened its doors to youth and their families in the Nanaimo-Ladysmith School District 68.
The Take a Hike Nanaimo program serves the needs of up to thirty vulnerable youth in grades 10 to 12.
