Take a Hike Cowichan:  Matching Gift

 
Take a Hike’s Cowichan program was established in 2020 in partnership with School District 79. Since then, we’ve worked together to ensure that Cowichan youth get access to full-time therapeutic support, individualized academics, and land-based learning experiences that reconnect them to their local community. 

For the 2026/27 school year, every gift to Take a Hike Cowichan will be matched up to $100,000. This match is made possible thanks to a generous family that believes deeply in what this program makes possible for young people in their local community. Committed to investing in local youth, they have pledged to match all gifts directed to TAH’s Cowichan program, up to $100,000.
