“Being in Take a Hike changed my life’s direction”
– Lenny, TAH Alum (Saanich, 2025)
Starting a new school year can be hard for some. Take a Hike is here for exactly that reason—so that youth know they have full-time support from a Mental Health Clinician right there with them, offering the relief and stability every young person deserves.
The support our program offers isn’t one-off sessions or crisis intervention, but integrated daily into the school day and beyond. This means that the impact of the Take a Hike program isn’t a single moment of support. Instead, it lasts and compounds over time.
But, like the daily support the youth receive, our program relies on the presence of a community of donors that shows up month after month. Please consider becoming a monthly donor today and help make sure this consistent, long-term care reaches every young person who needs it.
