Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Take a Hike! There are three different areas for you to volunteer:
program Volunteers
Outdoor Leader and/or In-Class Mentor and/or Expedition Leaders - Volunteers will join the youth on weekly outdoor trips and/or spend time in the classroom.
We are now accepting applications for the 2012-2013 school year, beginning in September, 2012. Click here for Role Description and application form.
Foundation Volunteers
Volunteer roles include marketing and promotion, fundraising, creative writing, event planning, and many more. Roles are continuously changing. Examples of current roles we're looking to fill:

BOARD MEMBERS
Members of the board work together to fulfill our Foundation's purpose of enabling at-risk youth to change their lives. In the larger picture, they aim to:
1. Live the values & preserve the integrity of the organization
2. Get results (ensure donors receive great value for their contributions)
3. Set policy and direction
4. Support and promote the organization
